Alpinestars Supertech Shoes

The Supertech Shoe boasts a new, fully knitted upper construction which is designed to deliver the closest and most comfortable fit, adapting to the morphology of the feet even more, and resulting in improved comfort in the cockpit and reduced driver fatigue. The ultra-lightweight Supertech Shoes feature a full carbon heel cup for a secure heel lockdown and holding the foot firmly in place. The shoes have a 3D printed midsole, manufactured using Digital Light Synthesis, this allows increased cushioning in key areas, softer under the heel bone, but stiffer at the edges for maximum stability. The memory foam heel padding reduces vibrations from being transmitted to the heel and reduces discomfort, whilst the ultra-thin rubber outsole gives the driving feel required for maximum performance.

Construction

• Ultra-lightweight racing shoe featuring a fully knitted fire retardant upper, made from a blend of aramidic fibers to offer drivers unsurpassed comfort, and breathability, as well as a precise and secure fit around the foot.
• Engineered stretch tongue zone and ankle collar area for optimum fit, with rear pull tab for ease of entry while putting on the shoe.
• Upper overlay skin for durability and support while providing flex points for comfort when walking.
• Thermo-formed carbon fiber heel cup provides secure heel lockdown.
• 3D printed midsole allows for multi density cushioning, softer under the heel bone but stiffer at the edges for maximum stability.
• Redesigned F1-derived ultra-thin rubber outsole delivers greater feel, improved sensitivity with the pedals, and optimum levels of grip.
• The textured rubber outer sole has an asymmetric tread and is water repelling and oil resistant to offer high levels of grip.
• Lightweight memory padding around the heel reduces vibrations being transmitted to the heel bone, while the seamless Achilles zone construction provides enhanced driver comfort.
